Sara E. Faulkner, a Georgia native, is the only child of Dr. James Faulkner and Dr. Diana Faulkner and grew up in Warm Springs, Georgia, the home of FDR’s Little White House. Sara graduated with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is an avid Yellow Jackets supporter. She earned her J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law, with a specialization in International Law and clerked for the Probate Judge of Meriwether County. Sara was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2011 and established her own practice, the Law Office of Sara E. Faulkner which specializes in estate planning, elder law, and business law. She maintains two offices as part of her practice, one in Manchester and the second in Fayetteville. Sara is also of counsel with the Atlanta based real estate law firm, Parkway Law. She was a member of the Griffin Business and Professional Women Chapter for several years and served as the local president. Currently, Sara is a member of the Decatur Business and Professional Women Chapter, as well as serving as, Vice-President of the Georgia Business and Professional Women Federation. She completely restored and renovated a 100 year old home in Manchester which she is now living in. Sara enjoys travelling and has visited more than twenty different countries – including China, Cuba, Japan and Russia several times. Sara also enjoys creating art, in particularly on gourds. She has competed in regional and state shows, winning Best in Show for her division at the 2019 Georgia Gourd Art Show and serving as Secretary of the Georgia Gourd Society.
